Fall Winterization

The fall winterization (also known as a “blow out”) involves clearing the irrigation lines by blowing air through the lines to ensure that there is no water left in the system. This prevents any freezing and breakage through the winter months.

The steps that take place to ensure a quick and sufficient blow out are:

• Ensure the water is shut off from inside the home. This is important to do prior to your appointment in the event there is nobody home at the time of your appointment.

• We will connect the air compressor to nearest source point of water to ensure entire system is cleared.

• Our air compressor will blow air through your irrigation system lines a minimum of 3 times to ensure any left over water that had settled in between to be blown out. 

Spring Start Ups

During the spring start up, we will start up the system manually through the valves and electronically with the control clock.

We will do an extensive walk through of the system to ensure there are no faults in the system such as breaks in the lines or broken sprinklers. Finally, we will adjust sprinkler heads as needed for optimal watering of your grass, garden beds etc.

If any issues or damage is located during the start up process, the client will be notified and in most cases the repairs can be done immediately at an additional charge.

Installations

A new irrigation system can help save you time and money all while keeping your lawn, garden or flower bed lush without over watering. We use top quality TORO products to customize your system in order to to optimize water usage.

All new systems include a complimentary Fall Winterization service.
